Carpet cleaning in Tsim Sha Tsui and Jordan

Hotels, shops and restaurants that hardly close, in a district with some of Hong Kong's heaviest foot traffic. How to fit carpet cleaning around them.

Foot traffic is the real issue

Few parts of Hong Kong see as many people walking through as Tsim Sha Tsui. Soil comes straight in from the street and MTR entrances, and on rainy days it comes in wet. That is hard on entrance mats, lift lobbies and corridors.

Hotels

Hotel carpet tends to wear in predictable places: lift lobbies, corridors outside rooms, and the routes that housekeeping trolleys and luggage follow.

Cleaning a whole floor at once is rarely practical, so we usually work in sections. We keep paths open and work around occupied rooms, with low-moisture cleaning in the interim and heavier work when a floor is empty. We will agree noise and timing limits with your duty manager, since hotel guests sleep at all hours.

Shops and shopping arcades

Stores usually have the shortest window, and malls may have fixed contractor hours. Entrance zones get most of the soil, so we often focus there. If your mall requires a work permit, tell us who to deal with.

Restaurants

Dining-room carpet collects food and drink under and around the tables, with grease tracked from the kitchen. The fastest results often come from treating these routes first, and cleaning late at night once the room has closed.

See commercial carpet cleaning for details on scheduling. If a carpet has gone too long without attention, see deep cleaning.

Homes in Jordan and the wider area

We clean homes around here too. Many are in older tenement buildings with limited lifts, and small flats can dry slowly. Read about residential carpet cleaning and tell us about access when you get in touch.
