Commercial carpet cleaning for hotels, retail and hospitality

Carpet cleaning for hotels, restaurants, shops, clubhouses and event venues in Hong Kong, scheduled so that customers never see it happen.

Carpet that your customers see

In a hotel corridor, a restaurant or a shop, tired carpet shapes what people think of the business. It also takes a beating, from luggage wheels, food and drink to rainy-day foot traffic from the MTR.

The difficulty is finding a time to clean it. You cannot close a corridor all day, and a restaurant may have only a few hours between closing and morning deliveries.

Looking for a workplace clean? Our office carpet cleaning page covers workstations and carpet tile.

Who this is for

  • Hotels and serviced apartments: corridors, function rooms, lift lobbies and guest rooms
  • Restaurants and bars: spills and grease, usually in late-night windows
  • Retail: entrance zones and busy routes, before opening or after closing
  • Clubhouses and residential common areas: function rooms and lobbies
  • Event and conference venues: quick turnaround between bookings

Traffic-based maintenance

Rather than cleaning everything on the same schedule, a good plan matches the effort to the wear:

Zone Typical treatment
Entrances and lift lobbies Frequent, as this is where most soil enters
Corridors and main routes Regular interim cleaning, with periodic extraction
Function rooms and dining After events, plus spot treatment
Low-traffic rooms Occasional

We can work out actual frequencies with you once we have seen the site and how it is used.

Choosing a method for a working business

Low-moisture cleaning gets areas back into use quickly and suits interim maintenance. Hot water extraction removes more and suits periodic restoration, but needs longer to dry. Many commercial carpets benefit from both.

Patterned and high-end hospitality carpets may have care guidance from the manufacturer. If you have that, please share it.

Working with your team

We can give a written scope, agree working hours with your duty manager or building management, and supply the documents your site needs. Please tell us about these when you get in touch.

To help us quote, tell us the type of venue, approximate area, available hours and any restrictions. See also what affects the cost.

Common questions

Can you work overnight?

Out-of-hours work is common for this type of job. Tell us your available window and we will confirm what can be done within it.

Can you clean in sections so that we stay open?

Yes, that is often the best approach. We can plan zones and sequence them around your bookings or opening hours.

How soon can the area be used afterwards?

That depends on the method and the air conditioning on site. Low-moisture methods usually allow a quicker return to use than extraction. We will advise you for your particular site.
